The Path To Take

When you come to a fork in the road of life.
Will you know which path to take?
If you ask someone, they’ll you to the ninth,
Of the path they took and how it was a huge mistake.

Fore the answers deep inside you.
Shouting to be heard.
But you don’t know what to do.

If only I were a bird!
Then I’d know which path to take.
And never make a mistake,
Cause I’d be free to roam the air,
Looking down upon the ground.
Never get lost, or at road signs stare.
Never be hindered going round and round.
I’d see the path before me
And know the road to take.

But I’m too busy looking down to see.
The storm clouds above me,
Oh what a big mistake.

To take the easy route,
To cheat and steal my way out,
I never learned the lessons to be learned.
I never saw the sights to be seen.
Struck by lightning, I died while being burned,
And never lived but merely dreamed.
